Call it catch up day!! Yesterday lost 1.6 lbs and today +/- 0. Have had 2 nights of only 5 hours of sleep with work and homework...Looking forward to being off tomorrow! at least from work!! Have tons of homework to do!! Tonight will be another cram session!! Last test of the week!!

Hope to get a balance in my life with the new job and Sr Classes.....wondering if I will stay on track to graduate in Dec or if it will be March!!! Time will tell!!

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE......LITERALLY.........................


To date I have lost over 40lbs this is 8 of these 5lbs slabs of fat!!!! Now that is a visual....I won't forget

Round 2 We Continue this Journey..........

LOAD WEIGHT IS GONE AND IN NEW NUMBERS!!!! HERE WE GO!!!!

Today I lost my last 1.3 lbs of the load weight plus 2.2 lbs so I had a total loss of 3.5 lbs this am...Can we say "HaPpY DaNcE" !!! 

On Monday I did not have one of those VLCD headaches, But it found me on Tuesday. I was at work and did not have anything with me. Then on Wednesday I did not get it till later in the day and it was not as bad; therefore, I am hoping they will be gone!! I know they are much better this time than what I experienced on Round 1.

I am very excited about my journey continueing! I am working in a different atmosphere this time but I take my food and it does not bother me to turn down the "office JUNK." Today I have a mandatory meeting at lunch and it did not bother me to tell the Operations Manager not to order food for me, I would be eating before attending. It really helped matters that I am off today and just have to go in for the meeting!

I have determined not to set a specific number of days I am going to do for Round 2, I have seen that Round 2 can be really good or really slow! I did do over 6 wks of maintenance. This might be an extra benefit for me plus I still have a large amount of weight to lose. Therefore, I am not down to so little fat to lose. But I will not set myself and get discouraged this is a journey/process. It did not get on my body overnight and is not going to come off overnight!.

I shared with a fellow HCGer last night concerned about small losses, This is my VISUAL of this!!! The small losses add up! Think of it as a piece of the puzzle put in place and what a beautiful picture you will be when finished!! With that note have a GREAT DAY all of you "LOSERS!!"

UUgghhhh..... the second loading is not what you think it will be!!!

Will yesterday for breakfast it was (1) Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll and did make myself drink a Muscle Milk, then mid morining snacks included almonds and pork skins.


At lunch it was lil smokies beef sausages plus a whole container of Edys Ice Cream Dibs (over 24 g of fat) when I got back to my desk from lunch was not filling too good.....only mid day snack was chocolate covered patties.

Then for dinner we went out with my in-laws, I ordered fajitas at the whole combo plates less the tortillas, but at all the cheese, sour cream, guac and good stuff!!! When I got home for desert another Cinnabon cinnamon roll Plus coffee with whipping cream!!

by the end of the night felt like a stuffed something!!! not sure what yet but UGGHHH,......

the loading today will continue....did not weigh this am because I dont want to know!! I am sure I have gained I can just tell!!!! But if I know what it is I am sure it will affect my choices today. The Journey continues.

Round 2 Day 1 of 3 Loading!!

Well today marks the next part of beginning my journey!!

With me being 6# below LIW, and the way I have eaten I have decided to do 3 days of loading! PLUS my husband graduates from the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy tomorrow and we will have Family and Friends in town all weekend.

Last round I never really changed all of my health and beauty products so I ventured to WalMart to take care of the Safe Product List. Also have reread Pound and Inches by Dr. Simeon. Yes, I know I have done round one but it is my guide on my journey and I learn something new everytime I read it!!!

OOooo My the things I bought for loading......I just hope I will be able to eat this fatty sweet food!! I have not craved "junk" food on maintenance but I sure did crave broccoli or big salads with lots of variety! Just to give you a small list!! Chocolate covered cherries (I did not eat at Christmas), Guacamole dip, Hillshire Farms Lil smokies, Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing, and my mother-in-law bringing the Red Velvet Cake for hubby (But my favorite, I passed at Christmas, not today). Think we will have alfredo this weekend with the family here as well..... Who knows I will keep you posted!!!

Well here we go filling up the fuel tank getting ready for this part of my journey.....on the "byeweigh" with my HCG family.

COUNTDOWN TO ROUND 2: 10 DAYS!! Woo Hoo!!!

Hello fellow HCGers and Bloggers!!!

I have been really bad in my blog!! HOWEVER!! GREAT NEWS TO SHARE!! I have started a new job on Monday!!! In the field that I am completing my degree in of Hopsitatlity and Tourism Management! I hope to Graduate Dec 2010...Might be spring of 2011 but my goal is set for 2010!! Many goals have been set for 2010!!!

Let me share with you that you can change your eating habits and remember that our REWARDS are based on our CHOICES!! During round 1 was not in the "office" setting for work!! After Monday I was reminded very fast of all the JUNK in the office!!! Within the first 3 hours of work I was offered: cerel, suckers, popcorn and oooo no KRISPY KREME DONUTS!! I was very thankful I had packed my snack food and lunch with my water bottle!!! WOW!! I did not accept anything and what is worse is I had told them I was on a Dr supervised diet!!

Well stay strong with our daily choices....I must also share on Monday the day I started my new job I also was in new Digits!!! I am love my HCG, my journey one step (one pound and one inch) at a time!!

Cruising in the Maintenance Lane!!!

Well I have the Cruise control set and am counting down to Round 2!! I really would like to start sooner but with Hubby's graduation and family in town..it just makes since to wait till weekend of Jan 22-24, 2009. A lot of my friends started round 2 on New Years Eve and New Year's Day and are reporting great loses for round 2!! I think it is because we have been down this road, we know what works and what doesn't!

As I mentioned yesterday in how this has really changed the way I eat! Last night with Jack Frost in Central Florida I really wanted some warm soup for dinner. So we went to Olive Garden, I ordered soup, salad and the breadstick! Well I ate 2 plates of that yummy salad, then on my soup I ordered the minestrone soup...I mainly ate the broth, spinach, and veggies, then picked and ate a few of the bean and pasta.....One the breadstick I ate 1/2 of ONE Breadstick! Previously I would have eated 1/2 a basket..LOL!!! I was up this am .5 ounces, but I thought about it and I did not have enough protein most likely. I do really well eating protein 3 meals a day! It is ok though I am well below LIW, I enjoyed my meal, went out to eat and I was in control!

Everything is going GREAT with maintenance!!! Yesterday I had 1/2 of Grits with my eggs and then last night I even enjoyed 1/2 of cornbread dressing with my dinner. It is really about making changes and learning portion control. I have dieted so many times as I have previously said this is putting me into diet retirement!! Before if I got to where I could eat something I would eat 2 or 3 scoops...instead of a 1/2 cup serving!! but I really do not even want more than I am eating.
 
I know I have additional rounds and more weight to lose some people say it is because I am still actively thinking about it but I really believe it has changed me. I also have become more in tune with eating because I am hungry vs. eating because bored, depressed, or just because. Because if I just did not care I would not care if I was within a 2lb rule. Because I know the HCG will take it off!!
 
I love this and am so thankful for the research Dr. Simeon has done!!

Trying to stop losing!! On Maintenance!!

Ok...well after yesterday using cautionary foods...I am down again this am....I am 4.1 lbs BELOW LIW...I had 20 ozs of Michelob Ultra Yesterday and 10 chips at Chili's....I am adding the starches and sugars and trying to get stable and maintain!! I really do not think that with me have another 2 rounds to do that this will have a negative affect on this...it is not like I am trying to lose more weight....

Also I believe that it can sometimes take a day or two for the food you eat to actually so up, thereofre I am enjoying my journey and counting down the days to Round 2!!!!

Survived the Holidays ~ Woo Hoo

Ok....I am really trying to keep this weight maintained...over the last week every morning I got up to losing a few ounces...well this am I got up to a 2lb loss....this was after eating Pork Loin in one of those seasoned packets with high sodium for me......staying up late......eating (1) mini peppermint pattie!! (Yes, only one)....What the Heck???!!!

So this am Day 3 I made myself add a carb...I had 1/2 of a whole wheat bagel with cream cheese and Bacon for breakfast...I have tried today to add more calories...but noticed it has still been higher in protein...I really do not like the starches or sugars...they are too sweet or just do not taste the same to me any more!!

Well I am trying and giving it my best...it will be what it is!!! I keep saying I was gonna make the pumpkin layer cheesecake and have not so I think maybe I should!! Bon Appetit
